TEAPRESSO BAR HILO
Teapresso Bar was founded in 2014 by Steve Nguyen who had a vision of bringing healthier drink alternatives to the Island. The first Teapresso Bar location opened on Bishop Street in downtown Honolulu and has since succeeded in positioning itself as a healthier alternative in the Coffee and Boba milk tea market.

Teapresso Bar is the first on the Islands to offer Organic specialty coffee and brewed-to-order boba milk tea with organic and vegan options. Each drink is custom made using natural and fresh local ingredients. In addition to coffee and tea, Teapresso Bar also offers a variety of beverages including organic lemonade, fresh fruit smoothies, and frappe, to name a few.

Teapresso Bar Hilo (Store 19) is the first Teapresso Bar chain store on the Big Island. The store is independent and locally-owned. The partners are 4th generation Hilo kama`aina. The Hilo store was developed in a record 10 weeks with custom touches unique to the Teapresso Bar chain. It opened on December 17, 2018.

In March 2020 when the pandemic closed businesses the store remained open, developed curbside service and temporarily added quick food items as a community service. It is the only bubble tea store to offer curbside orders, payment and pickup. (Curbside order taking moved to sidewalk on December 1st 2022.)

On February 7, 2021 the store relocated 2 doors down to the corner unit where it doubled it's floor space. The leading volume beverage store in the chain since inception Hilo also has the largest and most experienced team of baristas. The store has by far the biggest off-menu selection of in-house barista created drinks unique to the chain.

There are currently over 25 locations within the Hawaiian Islands. In collaboration with ABC Stores, Teapresso drinks are served in 8 ABC Stores on Oahu, Maui, Big Island and Kauai. On the mainland there are stores in Texas, California, Washington State and Arizona.
